Dear Praying Friends,

Winter is starting early here in the Northwest.  We saw our first snowfall on November 9th!  We’ve had a few more since then with many more sure to be on the way!

In October we hosted our 2nd annual Fall Festival.  We had twenty people in attendance with several new faces from the community as first time visitors to our church.  It was a great night of fun and games and the entire group listened as Tim gave his testimony and the plan of salvation.  We are praying for these new families that they would come back and visit the church for a regular church service.  Also, in October we had a fellow Macedonia missionary going to Phoenix, Arizona to present his work to our church.  Our people enjoyed hearing his burden and fellowshipping with his family.  We also attended another Independent Baptist Church’s preacher’s revival in Idaho.  This was an opportunity for Tim to preach and a blessing to us as we heard several other men of God as well.  In November, we had a special Thanksgiving service and meal afterwards.  In December we will be hosting an Independent Baptist Church fellowship.  Please help us pray for this upcoming event on December 30th.

We are praying about starting a Bible Study in Pullman to reach out to the many college students there.  Pullman is the home of Washington State University which has over 18,000 students.  This is about 15 minutes south of Colfax.  We are hoping to get to meet some college students and get them interested in visiting with us in Colfax.  Please help us pray for this endeavor as we work on the details.  We are hoping to start this after the first of the year.

We have had a new family to start visiting recently so that is answered prayer.  Their children are very excited about coming to Kid’s Club on Wednesday nights.  Please be much in prayer for new contacts for our church.  Since starting the church we have had over 90 first time visitors.  Please help us pray that some of these people would start coming on a regular basis.  We are specifically praying for a Christian couple to come help us with youth activities and Sunday School classes. Please help us pray for this special need. 

Thank you to all of the churches that sent us birthday cards these past couple of months.  It is so good to know we have people praying for us.  Thank you also to all of the churches that have sent special Christmas gifts.  We truly appreciate your generosity.  Please keep us in your prayers as we serve the Lord here in Colfax, WA.
