Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you to all of you who have been praying about our building situation.  We were able to get out of the lease with the original building we had rented.  We have been using the old Seventh Day Adventist Church since October 9.  We are currently working out a lease-to-own purchase agreement with that organization.  The Lord has truly blessed us with this wonderful building.

We are overjoyed that we will be celebrating our 3 month anniversary of the church on December 11.  It is so amazing what the Lord has done in these past three months.  On October 29, we held a fall festival at church.  We had several visitors come and participate in the food and games.  We have also had a father and son join our church and the son was baptized in our church.  The son was saved during our second service in September.  His sister was also saved but does not want to be baptized yet.  We are praying the Lord would speak to her heart about this matter.  We started Wednesday night services in the middle of October, so we have been having three regular services every week.  We are very excited to be starting Sunday School on December 4th and are praying the Lord will bless.  We now have a piano at the church!  We had a lady visit our church and play the keyboard for us.  The next week she donated her own personal piano to the church and has been playing it every Sunday morning for us!  What a blessing!  We also have a teenager who is playing his trumpet with the congregational singing as well.  It is a blessing to have instruments in our services!  We have 5 families attending our church now.  Two of the families are very faithful about coming every service.  Please help us pray that our families will start attending more faithfully and that the Lord will give us new families.  There are two other families who would like to come but are not able.  The community is very aware of our presence here.  They know who we are and what we are doing.  Tim has knocked on more than 5600 doors now.  We are putting the Gospel out into the community and are praying for God to give the increase.  Please help us pray that God would work in the hearts of the people here and that people would come and visit our services.

On a health note, we both have had to have quite a bit of dental work recently and the total bill for that is going to be around $1200.  This was an unexpected expense for us.  Please pray for us as we cover this in addition to our regular bills.

Praise the Lord for three more churches taking us on for support.  Thank you to Lawsonville Baptist Church in Danbury, NC Victory Baptist Church in Henderson, NC, and Fellowship Bible Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC.  Thank you to all of the churches who sent us both birthday cards these past two months.  Thank you to all of the churches who have sent special Christmas offerings.  We truly appreciate your generosity.  Thank you so much.  Please continue to pray for us as we serve here in Colfax, WA.
