Dear Praying Friends,
“Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus our Blessed Redeemer!” We made it to Washington! It is amazing how the Lord works! Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.” We have seen this verse in action!

Many of you know that when we left NC, we did not have a place to live in WA. The house we had been trying to get did not work out. So, Bro. Arnold Worley loaded up our belongings on May 26 to head to WA and we boarded a plane on May 28. We thought that we were going to have to put everything into storage and then find a place to rent and then maybe be able to get a house. We were thinking we would have to move 2 or 3 times. However, Bro. Worley’s truck broke down in NC and he was not able to leave until June 2. During this time the Lord showed us a house that was for sale and vacant. We were able to move in early and we signed the closing papers on the house on June 28! So, when Bro. Worley’s truck arrived on June 4, we were able to move the furniture once, and not into several different locations. The Lord used that to give us time to find a house that was in better condition and less expensive than the first house! God is good!

When we first arrived, we stayed with Bro. Richard Green and his family who are missionaries in Cheney, WA. During the month of June, Bro. Green went back east for a visit, so Tim was able to fill in at Heritage Baptist Church for him during this time. This was a blessing and we truly appreciate the opportunity!

We also had two new churches take us on and they are Christ Gospel Baptist Church in Trinity, NC and Open Door Fellowship Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Thank you so much!

We would also like to thank Macedonia Gospel Publications Inc for taking over the printing and delivery of our prayer letters for us. They also printed up several thousands of tracts for us to use here in Washington. This is a tremendous blessing and help to us and we truly do appreciate it.

Please notice that we have a new home address that is printed on the side. We also have a mailing address for the church we want to start here, Macedonia Independent Baptist Church. We would like to have our Grand Opening Sunday on September 11. Prior to that, we will be holding 3 Get Acquainted Meetings during August and September to give the people a chance to come and meet us and find out more about the church. From now until September 11, we will be preparing for the church. Tim will be door knocking on hundreds of doors each week inviting people in our county to the church. We are in the process of securing a building to rent to meet in for services. We will need to purchase chairs and supplies for the building. We will be printing up brochures and flyers for the church. Please help us pray for the financial needs involved in this, but most importantly for the hearts of the people here. This is a religious town that needs the Lord. We want to see the Lord work in Colfax, WA. Please help us pray that people would come to the Grand Opening Service and that souls would be saved!
