Dear Praying Friends,

Praise the Lord! A young woman came to the Lord during one of our meetings in the month of July. She was a first time visitor to the church. We praise the Lord for this new soul. He is truly blessing our ministry and we are thankful to all of you who are faithfully praying for us.
Three churches have taken us on during the month of July. They are True Vine Baptist Church in Mt. Airy, NC, Community Baptist Church in Lexington, NC, and Grace Baptist Church in Petersburg, VA. We are so thankful that more churches are getting the vision for Washington State. We would also like to thank the individuals that have chosen to send us love offerings and take us on for monthly support. It is a blessing receiving letters from you. We truly do appreciate your personal commitment to missions and reaching souls in Washington State.
This month we were able to attend the National Sword of the Lord Conference in our hometown of Walkertown, NC held at Gospel Light Baptist Church. It was a privilege to be a part of the 70th anniversary of the Sword of the Lord and hear distinguished men of God such as Shelton Smith, Clarence Sexton, Paul Chappell and many others. We have even more of a burden to reach Washington and start a church for the people of Colfax. We were also excited to be able to purchase songbooks and evangelistic congregational hymn soundtracks to use in Washington. That will be a tremendous help to us.
Baby Jason is doing wonderful. He is 14 weeks old and weighs about 14 pounds now. He is growing up so fast!
Please continue to pray for us in the upcoming month of August. All of our meetings in August are out of North Carolina so we will be on the road quite a bit. In addition, Tim is going to be ordained during our home church’s Homecoming on August 29th so please be praying about that as well. Please continue to daily pray for us that we will be able to raise the prayer and financial support we need to leave for Washington. We are praying for all of you that the Lord is blessing and working in your lives. May God richly bless you.
