Dear Praying Friends,
These past two months have been very eventful for us! We are still having our Bible Study in Pullman and have two college students attending. They have also been coming to church on Sundays so that is a blessing!
On February 19th we flew to NC. During our 12 day stay we visited 6 different churches. Tim was able to preach at Calvary Baptist Church in King, NC during their Annual Bible Conference. This is one of our supporting churches and he is also an alumnus of their Bible College. He was also able to report back to and preach at four other of our supporting churches. They were Temple Baptist Church in Danville, VA; Ashland Street Baptist Church in Archdale, NC; Faith Baptist Church in Siler City, NC; and our home church of Missions Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC. We also were able to drop in at a missions conference at Bethel Baptist Church in Hays, NC. When we got back home we received a letter from Bethel Baptist Church saying they had taken us on for support! Praise the Lord! We want to thank all of these churches for letting us come and share what God is doing here in Colfax, WA.
During our visit, Tim’s aunt passed away very unexpectedly. We were able to be there for the funeral and Tim was a pall bearer. His family was amazed how the Lord had worked it out so we could be there for that. God always takes care of the situation before we face it. Praise the Lord!
We had mentioned that Tim’s grandmother has not been in good health after suffering several strokes in October of 2005. Well, exactly two weeks after returning from our trip we were told that she had been given 24 hours to live. After much prayer and consideration, we decided to drive back for the funeral. We have never driven across country, but our God was protecting us every step of the way. We left WA at 5am on Saturday morning and pulled into Forsyth County, NC around 5am on Monday morning. Praise the Lord! We were able to be there for the funeral home and funeral. Tim was asked to speak during the funeral. While sharing dear memories of his grandmother, he was also able to share the gospel with a congregation of people. Praise the Lord! That Wednesday night we visited another one of our supporting churches, Living Waters Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. Again Tim was able to preach and share our ministry. On Thursday morning we left NC to drive back. We ended up staying Friday night in Buffalo, WY. Thank you to Perry Memorial Baptist Church for letting us use their Prophet’s chamber! We arrived safely back home Saturday afternoon. These past two months have been filled with travel but the Lord has protected our every step. We want to thank all of the churches that allowed us to share our ministry with them again and for the special love offerings we received. It was a blessing. Your prayers and support mean so much to us!
In May, Craftsmen for Christ will be coming to put a new roof on the church. Please keep this much in prayer. During this Sunday’s services, the tarp we had over the ceiling in the ladies’ bathroom broke and flooded the bathroom. Thankfully no one was in there!
Thank you again to our faithful prayer partners! We love you and pray for you!
Love in Christ,
Tim and Jennifer Wall
