Church Planting in Washington State

Dear Praying Friends,

Greetings from the snow covered Northwest!  These past couple of months have been filled with snow and 20 degree temperatures!  We are ready to get above freezing for a few days!

We had a very good Christmas here in Colfax.  Jason was old enough to understand what was going on this year and boy did he have fun!  It was hard being away from family this time of year, but the Lord blessed and we had a very nice Christmas.  Thank you to all of the churches who sent Christmas cards and Christmas gifts.  We truly appreciate your generosity and faithful prayers.

On Saturday, December 30th we hosted a Winter Church Fellowship and had two other churches in attendance.  We had a wonderful night of preaching, singing, and fellowship.  Here in the Northwest, where Fundamental churches are few and far between, it is so nice to get together with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.  We praise the Lord for the Christian co-laborers we have here in Washington and Idaho.

In our last prayer letter we mentioned that we were praying about starting a Bible Study in Pullman to reach out to the many college students there.  This is about 15 minutes south of Colfax.  Well we did find a place to meet and have been advertising in the college newspaper and passing out flyers at the college apartments.  So far we have had one young woman respond and attend the Bible Study.  She truly seemed to enjoy it and is planning on coming to church this Sunday!  So that is answered prayer!  Help us pray that more college students would get involved in this new ministry.

We’ve had three first time families come to visit the church recently.  This is answered prayer!  One of the families seemed very interested in attending regularly.  We also had one of our families that used to come to the church, start attending again.  Praise the Lord!  Please keep these families much in prayer that they would get in church and be faithful.

Tim has been asked to speak at Calvary Baptist Church in King for their Annual Bible Conference.  Tim is an alumnus of their Bible College there.  He will be preaching at Calvary on Monday, February 26th.  We will also be visiting and preaching at four of our other supporting churches while we are in NC.  We are looking forward to seeing family again and reporting back to the churches.  Please be much in prayer for our trip.

Both sides of our family have been having numerous health problems these past few months.  In particular, Tim’s grandma, Jennifer’s dad and grandma are facing many health issues.  Please help us pray the Lord would intervene and work in these situations.  Thank you so much to all of our faithful prayer partners.  We couldn’t do this without you!

Love in Christ,

Tim and Jennifer Wall
