Church Planting in Washington State

Dear Praying Friends,

August has been a very busy month for us. We had our church’s 23rd homecoming on August 29th. In the afternoon service, Tim was ordained and commissioned by our church. We were excited that our pastor, David Keaton, and our Macedonia field director, Dr. Allen Barker, were able to conduct the ordination. We are also thankful to Bro. Larry Easler and Bro. David Maynard for helping in the ordination. We truly appreciate our home church’s and our mission board’s confidence and support of us. This was a tremendous day in our lives and our family’s.
We have had two churches take us on this month and they are Chilhowie Baptist Church in Chilhowie, VA and Tabernacle Baptist Church in King George, VA. We are currently at 66% of our needed support level. We are really praying that we will be able to leave in the spring of next year. Please make this a matter of daily prayer. If you are not currently one of our supporting churches or individuals, would you prayerfully consider being one? There are 40,000 people in Whitman County, WA without one gospel witness. If we do not go and tell them about Jesus, how can they be saved?
We are excited to be sending out a copy of our new prayer card with our son, Jason, on it. We not only changed the picture but we added a back to the prayer card which tells more about the area we are going to in Washington and what we hope to accomplish.
In addition, during August Tim was able to attend a Christian Law Association seminar. It was helpful to learn many new laws and regulations regarding church policies.
We are in the process of locating housing in Colfax, WA. Finding a home is never easy and it is quite a challenge doing it across country. Please help us pray that God will direct us to where He wants us to live. We are praying for you and trust that you are praying for us. May God Bless you.

In Christ,

Missionaries Tim and Jennifer Wall
