Dear Praying Friends,

There is so much to tell in this prayer letter!  First, we had new prayer cards made!  We want to thank Bro. Mark Coffey and his men in Peru for all of their hard work on them!  We are enclosing one card with our prayer letter.  If you would like more please feel free to email or call and we would be happy to send you extras!

Jason turned 3 years old on April 22.  When we moved out here he was only 13 months old!  He is growing and learning and doing just wonderful!

Jennifer had the opportunity to speak at a ladies meeting at New Life Baptist Church in Osburn, ID.  It was their mother/daughter banquet and she spoke on being a Christian woman.  The church was started little over a year ago by missionary Kim Harris.

Our biggest news of course is that our church now has a new roof!  We want to thank Bro. Roger Mullins and all of the men and women who came and helped with the roof.  We weren’t sure if the weather was going to cooperate, but the new roof was on in just 4 days!  In addition to the roof, they replaced rotting boards, repaired sheetrock in the ladies bathroom and a Sunday School classroom, painted some trim around the church and did some other repairs around the church!  It was a blessing to see so much getting done for the work of God.  On Wednesday night we had a wonderful service with the Mullins family singing for us and other special singers.  We also had a couple visit for the first time.

We were so blessed with the people God sent to us.  They did more than fix the roof.  They became friends and prayer warriors.  We were so humbled that they would drop everything for a week to come work for a church where they knew no one.  It was such a blessing to hear them testify how God used that week in their own lives.  Jennifer and I were both so encouraged by the good Christian fellowship and sweet spirit of the people.  So we want to thank the Mullins family from WY, the Stamper family from VA, the McHatton family from NC, and Bro. Nathan Ward, Bro. Randy Ward, and Bro. Kassidy Houpt all from MS.  You all were such a blessing!  We also appreciate Bro. Richard Green, Bro. Kim Harris, & Bro. Danny Vaughn for coming to help that week!  We also had several from our church come out to help!

Before Craftsmen for Christ came we had set a goal of raising $8000 to fix our roof.  We had several churches to give, but our church also gave very sacrificially.  The last Building Fund Sunday we had we still needed $629.27 to meet our goal. Praise the Lord we took in $1090.12!  God always exceeds our expectations!  Even more praise is that we only spent around $6000 for all of the materials and expenses for the week!  We were also able to get the local newspaper to do an article on Craftsmen for Christ being at our church.  Pray this will be a tool to get someone interested in visiting our church.

We celebrated Memorial Day by going to a revival at New Life Baptist Church in Osburn, ID to hear Bro. Jeremy Simpson preaching.  It was a blessing to hear one of our supporting pastors preach and hear him and his family sing!  Also on May 28th we celebrated two years since moving to WA.  We praise God for all of his many blessings!

On Father’s Day we will be starting a revival with Bro. David Maynard from Clemmons, NC.  He was with us last April and was a tremendous blessing to our people.  Please help us pray for that week that souls would be saved and we would have many first time visitors from the community come out.  Pray for revival in Colfax, WA!
