Missionaries to North Dakota

"I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Rev. 1:8) Well Praise the Lord. That says it all, I'm just so thankful to be on His side. What a privilege it is to be saved and serving Him.

Departure Date We begin by thanking those of you that have been praying and standing behind us during our deputation. Words cannot express our gratitude for your faithfulness. We are pleased to inform you that our departure interview scheduled with Macedonia World Baptist Missions is being held on July 21st. Lord willing, we plan to leave for the field the last week in September. As we make final arrangements and prepare to leave family and friends, we ask for your prayers.

Recent North Dakota Trip At the beginning of June we took a trip back to North Dakota and spent ten days there. During this time, we were privileged to fill in for Brother Frankie Sheridan at the Turtle Mountain Baptist Church in Rolla, ND. What a blessing it was to see a Baptist church growing in a place where there was not one before. Please pray for an Indian lady that came to a Sunday night service and acknowledged that she was lost but didn't get saved.

Rugby, ND Many of you know that we were planning on beginning our church planting in Bismarck, but while in North Dakota the Lord opened a door for us to begin in a town called Rugby. Rugby is a town of 3,000 people with 4,700 in the surrounding county without a Baptist church of any kind. While traveling in this area, we saw the need and felt a burden we could not get away from. In town, we came across an empty church builiding that was shut down Methodist church. It has been used for storage the past ten years. The owner for many years would not sale or rent it to anyone but has agreed to rent the building to us. The church will need some paint, church pews, and a pulpit. Other than that it is in good condition. The Lord has provided us a place to live in town that is not far from the church. We stand amazed at what God has done and feel in our hearts that this is His will.

May the Lord bless you as we work together for the cause of the Gospel.
