Church Planting in South Dakota

Dear Pastors and praying friends,

Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus. I trust this letter finds all of you doing well as you serve the Lord. Thank you for your faithful giving and your continued prayers. I am overwhelmed when I begin to consider that every month you give by faith so that we can go to the field by faith. I am persuaded that the lost will be saved and the saved will be blessed as a result of your giving to the Lord.

Deputation is still going tremendous. We have had several more churches to begin supporting us. Currently, we are at 65% of our support level. I have meetings scheduled until the month of July. We hope to be leaving around then or August. I have left some time open in May for the camp meeting at River City Baptist Church in Pierre, SD. where brother Jessie Hailey is the pastor. I will also be spending some time looking for a home for our family while out there.
Praise the Lord!

Several times in the last few months I have been asked to return to some churches to preach again. That amazes me as well as humbles me. Pastor Davis of Bethel Baptist Church in Cartersville, GA. asked me to return for a mid winter revival last month. The meetings went quite well. The last night I felt the Lord would have me preach on the subject of Hell. Even though I had the flu, the Lord helped me. That night nine souls were saved. Praise the Lord! Cartersville is my hometown, so I was blessed to have some of my family and friends in the services.
A special thank you

Recently, one of our supporting churches closed; Faith Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA., where brother Juhan was the pastor. They disbanded the church and sold the building. They divided a large portion of the money between their missionaries. I want to say thank you for your gift to our family. I sincerely regret that the church had to close. It is our intent to use what you have given to us for the purpose of getting to the field and planting Independent Baptist Churches. Thank you.

As I write this letter, I am reminded again that there is no greater service to be in than that of our Lord’s. I may have said this while at your church, but please allow me to say it one more time; I wouldn’t trade places with anyone!

In His Service,

The Earwood Family
