"The gospel is only good news if it gets there in time"
Carl F. H. Henry

Often times as I consider the needs of men, women, boys and girls in Covington, LA, I am reminded of these words. Sure, to those of us who know the truth, the Gospel is good news. However, to the man that died today without Christ, the Gospel was not good news. People in Covington are dying lost without Christ because of a lack of Gospel witness. We must get there soon. The time is urgent and the need is great.

As we have been busy, the Lord has continually shown Himself faithful. The past few months have seen us finish a trip through Pennsylvania and New York and we recently returned home from a trip to Illinois for a missions conference there. One exciting note, as we were leaving Illinois on Thursday morning, we actually saw snow. It was only for a few minutes, but when you have grown up in the South, that is more than you might see all year.

Praise
During the past several months, we have had several different churches promise to take us on for monthly support. We are excited to see God continuing to work in our lives and trust that He will send in the support we need in His time. Many of the other churches we have been in have promised to pray about the possibility of supporting us. We thank the Lord for their willingness to follow the direction of the Lord.

We do thank the Lord for traveling safety. Over the course of the past few months, we have had meetings in PA, NC, VA, TN, AL, GA, SC, WV, and IL. We spent the majority of the month of September in North Carolina and was blessed with great meetings each time. Many of the people that we have met with have promised to pray for our family and that is the greatest thing we could ask for.

Wendy and the new baby are progressing well. Wendy went to the doctor during the first part of October and we found out that we are having another boy. We are excited about another little boy. Seth seemed to want a little sister, but we think he’ll take a little brother just the same. We are not real sure he knows what a little sister is anyway. Please continue to pray for Wendy and the baby.

Also, I recently completed the course requirements to earn my Doctorate of Ministry. I thank the Lord for the ability to do this and believe this training will help us greatly on the field.

Prayer Requests
Please pray that more churches would take us on for monthly support. Please help us pray that we can be on the field by late Spring of 2007.

Pray that we would be able to schedule more meetings in the days ahead and that our calendar would continue to fill up.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support. We know that we could not do what God has called us to do without you.

Securely His,
The Campbells
