Missionary Church Planters in Louisiana

Greetings to you in the name above all names, the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Lord has been so good to us and we are excited about what we are seeing Him do. He has proven Himself time and time again.

Praise
First, some praises. As you know, in our last prayer letter we were asking you to help us pray for a mini-van. The Lord has answered that prayer and has given us a 2000 Dodge Caravan. What a blessing it has already proven to be while traveling. We were able to pick the van up on Valentine’s Day and drove it during the last part of February. This makes traveling so much easier. Thank you all for helping us pray for this van.

In the month of January, we had the privilege of being at the Bright Light Baptist Church in Concord, NC. After sharing our testimony of the great need for the Gospel in southern Louisiana, they voted to take us on for support. What a blessing. That puts us one step closer to the field.

We have also been seeing our calendar begin to fill up. We are thankful for the meetings the Lord is allowing us to book. We do still have several open spots. Please help us pray that we will be able to fill those spots.

Prayer Requests
We do have several prayer requests that we would appreciate your help in praying about. First of all, pray for our continued safety while on the road. The Lord has watched over us thus far, pray that He would continue to do so. Also, please help us pray that the Lord would keep us on the road. In the month of March, most of our meetings will be in the state of Georgia. We still have several open spots on our calendar, so please help us pray for meetings.

We also ask that you help us pray for the needed support so that we can soon go into full-time deputation. We have recently reduced our work schedule to part-time so that we can spend more time on deputation. Please help us pray that we will soon be able to devote all of our energy to this.

It seems as if everywhere we go, at the end of the service we have someone come up to us and tell us that they did not realize the great need of southern Louisiana. Please help us pray that the Lord would continue to open the eyes and hearts of those we share our burden with concerning the great need of the area.

We are also praying for a video projector that we could use with our lap top to share a video presentation. These are expensive. Help us pray that the Lord will provide us with one so that we may use it to better share our burden.

Again, thank you for your prayers and support. Everything we do is so that Christ may receive the honor and the glory for it.
