Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour. It’s hard to believe, but we are already one month into the new year. My how quickly time flies. If we are ever going to accomplish anything for God, we must be busy now. Time will soon run out and we will be left with regrets, wishing we had done more. It is our prayer that this year will be our most productive year ever as far as our service to the Lord. I don’t know about you, but I want to draw closer to Jesus in 2006 than ever before.

Praise
After taking some time off for Christmas, our schedules have now picked back up. We praise the Lord for each church that has allowed us the opportunity to share our burden with them.

During the month of January, I had the privilege to take part in the Old Fashioned Southern Camp Meeting in the North with Dr. Leon Foote. This is a camp meeting that takes place in New York and Pennsylvania. We had a wonderful time each service and really enjoyed the trip. It also reminded me of the great need for independent Baptist churches right here in our own country. I thank our home church, Canaan Baptist Church, for purchasing my airplane ticket so that I could go. We would also like to thank Canaan and some of the families of the church for purchasing a digital video camera for us to use on deputation.

We have also had four new churches take us on for support, starting in January. Thank you to Love Valley Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC; Pine Grove Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA; Victory Baptist Church in Folkston, GA; and Countryside Baptist Church in Harmony, NC for their support. The addition of these churches now puts us at 32% of our needed support.

Prayer Requests
The Lord has blessed us with traveling safety thus far. Please continue to pray that He would watch over us as we travel. We have almost finished putting together a video presentation that we hope to use in churches. Help us pray that we would be able to get a video projector to showcase this presentation. In the year 2005 we were able to be in close to 70 different churches. Please help us pray that we can do even more than that this year. We still have areas on our calendars that need to be filled. Help us pray for meetings. Again, thank you for your prayers and support. We know that we could not do what we do without you. Thank you for entrusting us to be your light to the people of southern Louisiana.
