Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We trust this finds you all doing well and enjoying the blessings of being a child of God. It is hard to believe that Christmas has already come and gone, and another New Year is upon us. Truly our lives are but a vapor. That is why we must be busy doing exactly what God has called each of us to do.

The end of 2004 was a new beginning for the Campbell family, for it was in the last months of 2004 that we began our deputation. We had the privilege of being in three mission conferences and we were taken on for support in each of those. Our first conference was in our home church, Canaan Baptist Church in Covington, GA. This was during the first week of November. After that, we were in the church that I grew up in, Calvary Baptist Church in Statesville, NC. Praise the Lord they also took us on for support. The first week of December saw us at the Faith Baptist Church in Jefferson, GA. They too voted to take us on for monthly support. Also, during the month of November the Florence Baptist Temple of Florence, SC promised to take us on for monthly support. After just two months of deputation, we are almost at 7% of our needed support.

The new year will see us hitting the deputation trail as hard as we possibly can. We already have many Sundays booked in January and February and are looking to fill the other slots as soon as possible. We will be traveling to North Carolina just about every weekend, so please pray for good weather, although Wendy wouldn’t mind seeing a few snowflakes. We are expecting the Lord to do great things to help us get to the state of Louisiana just as soon as possible.

We have several matters of prayer that we would like for your to remember as you pray for our family. First of all, we are in need of a minivan. We have a friend that is helping us to find one at a good price. Please pray that the Lord will send us the one that He would have us to have. It would certainly be a big help in our travels, as our Dodge Neon quickly fills up when we are packing for a trip. Secondly, please help us pray that we will be able to get to full-time deputation soon. This would certainly be a big help in getting our support raised more quickly. We also will be putting our house up for sale in the coming months. Help us pray that it will sell quickly.

The Lord has been so good to the Campbell family in the year of 2004, and we are expecting Him to do even greater things in 2005. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We could not do it without you.
