"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained:  What is man that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" Psalm 8:3-4

We have just returned from a Mission Conference in Rainelle, West Virginia. As we made the trip we were amazed at such beautiful scenery along the way.  The trees were just beginning to change colors and it was a beautiful sight!  The Lord has allowed us to see many beautiful parts of the world since we  have been in missions.  When we consider the one that made all of this beauty with just the work of his fingers, we along with the Psalmist ask, What is man that thou art mindful of him?"  To think that such a God can use us!!  It does not make us feel proud or haughty, but it humbles our hearts.  We are also humbled that you would entrust us to be a part of your mission family. Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support.  

Since our last prayer letter we made a trip to Montana to help one of our missionaries, Brother Billy Carter introduce Faith Promise Missions to his church.  It was a great blessing to see his church get hold of this and we are excited to see how God is going to use this mission church to help put other missionaries on the field.  That is what it is all about!  In the month of September I preached at two other churches and helped them with their Faith Promise. I preached a Mission Sunday for my home church and was glad to get to be with my church family.  I also preached a revival and a Homecoming which I really enjoyed.

During the month of October I will be preaching in five different Mission Conferences.  Please pray for me physically and spiritually.  I get tired physically but I feel a great need to work while it is day.  I want to help churches see the great need of evangelizing the world and I also want to help my missionaries as they strive to get to the field and those on the field as well.

The two men that we interviewed in August at the Mission Board have been accepted and will be beginning deputation soon.  Please remember these men in your prayers.  They are Brother Steven Sykes going to New Mexico and Brother Rusty Pruitt going to Montana.  Also please help us pray that the Lord of the harvest will continue to send good men and their families to help us reach our own country with the gospel.
