"And
the angel of the Lord said unto them, Fear not: for, behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For
unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which
is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:10-11
We would like to begin our prayer letter by wishing each one of
you a joyous Christmas! As we busy ourselves with the holiday
season, let’s not ever forget the reason for the season and
that is our blessed Savior’s birth. Certainly it is
good tidings of great joy and it is to all people. The Gospel
is good news to all who hear it. It is our responsibility
to carry that good news to all people. Thank you for your
prayers and financial support that enables us to co-labor with
you to get the gospel to those that have never heard!
During the month of November I preached in four different Mission
Conferences. When I preach these conferences I am able to not
only help the church, but it also opens doors for our missionaries
to get in these conferences and prayerfully get support. We
were able also to spend some time with our family during Thanksgiving. My
parents and Jan’s parents are still living and we feel very
blessed each year during the holidays to have them with us.
During the month of December I will be flying to South Dakota to
be with two of our missionaries, Brother Jesse Hailey and Brother
Duane Earwood. Please pray that I can be a blessing to these
men and their families. For the most part, December is kind
of a slow month. But by this time of the year, we welcome
a few days off. It gives us some time to look back over the
past year and to be reminded of God’s mercies and blessings
on us. The Lord is good and we feel very honored to represent
you here in North America as we labor together to get the good
tidings of great joy to all people.
MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS!
