"Not that I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account." Philippians 4:17

How exciting it is to have fruit abounding to your account! Along with the Apostle Paul, I desire to have fruit from every part of the world that I go. Paul also reminds the church at Philippi that because they have sent to his necessity, that they will have fruit abounding to their account. So it is with you. You co-labor with us and whatever the Lord enables us to do, you will have fruit abounding to your account as well.

During the month of March Jan and I were blessed to go to California where we were privileged to help one of our missionaries Andy Doss and his wife Dawn. I preached a Mission Conference for him and we were able to help them do some visiting. It was such a blessing to see how that God is using Brother Doss and his family there in Merced. They have already established the Merced Baptist Church and are having regular, faithful attendance. Please help us pray that God will give them a building of their own to meet in.
We were also able to visit other cities in California that are in desperate need of a missionary and a church. Please help us pray for more laborers. The fields are white!

We also have just returned from Damascus, Maryland. Missionary Scott Kidwell and his family have started the Shining Light Baptist Church there and I preached a Mission Conference for him. We also helped him do some visiting while we were there. Both of these trips were a great blessing for us and our eyes were opened anew to the great need for churches here in our own country.

During the month of April I will be preaching in Mission Conferences in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. It is my desire to not only help missionaries, but to also help churches see the great need of sending the gospel of our risen Lord around the world. We also help people to see the great need for missions by the way of radio. Many of you may not know it, but I am on 6 different radio stations in 3 different states. It is my prayer that God will use these broadcast to put the challenge out about missions and that he will speak to men’s hearts about starting churches in the United States. Please make this a matter of prayer. We have around 40 families serving with Macedonia here in the States, but we need more. Please help us pray.

We very seldom mention anything about our family, but we have been blessed with a new grandbaby!
Alyvia Grace Barker makes us four beautiful, wonderful, precious grandbabies. Praise the Lord!!
