"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." John 9:4

As we travel from state to state doing the work that God has called us to do, we feel a great urgency to work while it is day. There are so many people to be reached with the good news of the gospel. There are so many counties and cities in our own country that do not have a good Bible believing church! We must work while it is day for the night is quickly coming when no man can work. Please remember us in your prayers that God will continue to give us physical strength and godly wisdom and safety as we travel thousands of miles in the air and on the road. You have helped make it possible financially for us to go and we thank you for that from the depths of our hearts.

JULY
During the month of July we flew to North Dakota to preach for and to help two of our missionaries, Brother Jimmy Harris and Brother Frankie Sheridan. While we were there we saw several souls saved. Praise the Lord! This is fruit abounding to your account. Also while we were there, Brother Jimmy Harris, who is in the process of moving his work from Oberon to Devil’s Lake, found a furnished church building that he can buy for $15,000.00. He has been renting the Senior Citizen’s building for services and it would be great if he could purchase the church building. Would you prayerfully consider helping financially with a one time gift for this purchase? You can send your money to the Mission Board and designate it for the church building for Jimmy Harris. Besides the trip to North Dakota, I preached a revival and a mission conference during July. We were also able to spend a few days of vacation with our grandchildren. We are so thankful for the much needed time of rest.

AUGUST
During the month of August we are planning to visit two more of our missionaries that are already on the field. Brother Don Reed in Ohio and Brother Charles Butler in South Carolina. I will also be preaching in four other churches for mission conferences or mission days.

SPECIAL PRAISE
By the time you receive this letter, Brother Jeff Hawks and his family and Brother Mark Shore and his family should be on the field! God has given us two new men to help us reach our own country with the gospel. Brother Travis Baker and his family going to North Dakota and Brother Brother Gary Medina and his family going to Alaska. God continues to give us good men to work with for which we are very thankful.

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST
Please continue to pray for our safety and health as we travel. Please pray for our missionaries on deputation. Pray that they will not get discouraged and grow weary in well doing on the deputation trail. They must be busy, we must be busy for the night cometh when no man can work!
