We praise the Lord for his goodness and his mercy toward us!  The Lord has shown his goodness to us through many of you, for which we sincerely thank Him and you.  We could not do what we do without Him and without your help and prayers.  

As usual our schedule is very full.  April, May and June are packed!  During these three months, besides the daily activities of helping our missionaries, I will have preached in seven different Mission Conferences in four different states.  Please help me pray that these churches will be able to do even more in missions.  During the month of May I will also be taking a group of preachers to New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire to look at areas that need churches.  Please pray that God will speak to their hearts about the great need up there.  Pray that their eye will affect their heart.  The month of June is our week of Orientation for our missionaries. This is a very busy month as we prepare to teach and then the week of training.  I would ask you to not only pray for me, but for all the directors and the missionaries.

I would like to take the rest of this letter to tell you about a very important event coming up!  The Mid-Western Camp Meeting which will be July 15-18 in Pierre, South Dakota at Brother Jesse Hailey‘s church, River City Baptist Church.  One of my jobs as the North American Field Directors is to help keep our missionaries encouraged and that is why we have this camp meeting.  It is not only for our missionaries, but all the missionaries out there.  They don’t get to hear the singing and preaching that you hear every week here in the "Bible Belt."  One of the ways that this is all possible is our supporting churches coming out and bringing singers to help make up the camp meeting choir and preachers to help exhort and encourage. Many of the preachers are called from the floor. PLEASE COME AND BE WITH US THIS YEAR!! I can get you a super rate at the Super 8 hotel in town and we will feed you well. This could be a combined mission trip and vacation.  After the camp meeting you can go to Mount Rushmore and the Bad Lands on Thursday and then head on home getting there in time for Sunday services at your home church.  Also if you would like to make a financial donation to help toward the cost of this meeting, we have an account set up at the Mission Board for this.  If you have any questions give me a call at 336-468-4998 or Pastor Hailey at 605-945-1025.
