MINISTRY NEWS                                                            NOVEMBER-DECEMBER  2004

Hello once again from the Northern Plains.  The Lord continues to bless the work here.  Just a few weeks ago a middle aged couple come forward on a Sunday morning and trusted Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Their names are Sam and Michele.  They were doing well and seemed to be growing in the Lord.  Unfortunately, they had to move.  Help me to pray that they will continue to grow and be used of God.  Then, last week a young man that got saved this summer and I went to witness to two of his nieces.  Praise the Lord one of them named Bobbie, age sixteen, got saved by the grace of God.  Please help us pray for her. She is in a group home because she has no where else to go.  There is a great need for good childrens homes in this state.  

Last month we started Heritage Baptist Bible College at the church.  Most of the people taking classes are layman, however, at least one young man feels that the Lord may be calling him to preach.  God is really blessing in our classes so far.  I am thankful for Carolina Bible College and Dr. Simpson in Concord, NC for helping us set up a fundamental college free of charge.

We are getting geared up for the two year anniversary of River City Baptist Church.  Thanks to your faithful prayers and support, there have been many souls saved who otherwise would have probably never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel.  We hope to see God continue to move and really shake this city for His glory and honor. 

To celebrate this event we will have services on December 10th-12th.  We are looking for the Lord to meet with us in a special way, and touch Bro. Bruce DeLange as he preaches God's Word.

FAMILY NEWS

Thank you for helping us pray about having another child.  Melanie is expected to give birth on March 31st.  The doctor told us last week that he is pretty sure that we will have another girl.  We are thankful for another precious girl to raise for Jesus.  Please pray that Melanie will continue to do well for the remainder of her pregnancy.

PRAYER REQUEST

Please pray that we will be able to reach multitudes of souls for Christ's sake.  Pray for boldness and power for us as the Devil and the religious crowd in this town fight and slander me and God's church.  By God's grace we will stand and the gates of hell shall not prevail.
